Happened across this little gem of a tasting room while exploring my 2025 SLO Cal Wine Passport with a friend. The owner, Mike, is super friendly and even more approachable than his wines. I am relatively finicky when it comes to white wine and recognize my favorite Sauvignon Blancs from the Marlborough region of New Zealand aren't for everyone, but I love Ruby Cellar's version of this variety. Crisp, citrusy and effervescent, it was the perfect pairing for my arugula and goat cheese salad! read more
