Zurich was my first awareness of the Ruby chain of hotels. The Mimi is centrally located within 5 minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof. Although situated in an older, nondescript building, the Mimi is a very clean modern, trendy and eco-conscious hotel. I enjoyed the paperless checkin process and the opportunity to swap hotel room cleaning for a free cocktail at the bar (I did). The Continental buffet breakfast was worth the added expense and packed with healthy options. Each floor has self-serve boiling hot water, coffee and teas. I made frequent use of this amenity. The Lovely room size was fine, and the queen bed was super comfortable. There was adequate workspace for a laptop and lots of outlets to recharge my electronic gadgets. The see-through glass shower was fine for me as I was traveling solo. I'd definitely try staying at another Ruby in the future. read more
