First off, let me say that the food being served here is not even close to Thai food. Ruby Thai Kitchen serves up typical greasy Asian mall food court stuff. I know that they used to have Pad Thai in years past, but, on my visit today, they had "Pad Mein" instead, which was just ordinary lo mein. I'm not sure why they didn't just call it lo mein. I ordered that, two spring rolls, and some veggies. It cost me $10-11 or so.
The food wasn't bad by any means. You get food from these types of places in the food court going in knowing that it isn't going to be a five star meal. It satisfied my hunger and was better than other Asian food court places I've had in the past (see: Maki of Japan at Concord Mills). I do like that the spring rolls had a trace of what I thought to be Thai spices of some kind, but it could have just been me.
Overall, it's exactly what you think it is and will taste probably how you expect it to. I just wish it was a less oily. read more
