I stopped by for some random baked goods on my way home. I got a cheese roll, ham/cheese roll, Portuguese buns and a sweetened egg meringue dessert (I forgot the actual name). The rolls were nice. It had a nice chew. The buns were more dense than I am used to. Usually for Portuguese buns, I think of crusty outside and light, fluffy inside bread. The dessert was interesting. I would have preferred custard over the egg whites. It was pastry dough sandwich with egg whites layered in between the pastry. I have enjoyed better meringue desserts. This is a nice bakery to try some more unique items you do not find at a big box grocery store. read more
