If you're camping in Kettle Moraine, Rustix is a solid option for a hot meal. When you walk in, you see the packed bar to your left and video slots to your right. Keep walking and you'll see a nicer seating area where families drop in. I ordered the cowboy burger and inhaled it. Really delicious and juicy. The french fries look like the love child of curly fries and steak fries. I loved 'em. The kids meal was very generous with a huge helping of their awesome fries. My 6-year-old was freaked out that the hot dog bun was more of a sandwich roll, but I told him "that's how they do it in Wisconsin." After a few skeptical nibbles, he was on board. I enjoyed the cheese curd cubes, but $10 is insane for 12 1-inch cubes. Save your money. The servers were generally terse and businesslike. You don't always have high hopes for food in a town of 2,000 people, but Rustix was a treat. I'd return if I'm visiting. read more
