This is a great area to go to in Tacoma for a variety of reasons!!! It stretches from near downtown Tacoma and ends near Point Defiance!! Along this waterfront you will find restaurants and multiple parks and piers!! You will also get great views of Commencement Bay!! I came here to get my runs in while I was in town. Seems like this is one of the places runners go in Tacoma. It's flat, clean, and scenic, I saw plenty of walkers and bicyclists here also. The big red boat that is located near Dukes Seafood Restaurant has some interesting history, it was a boat that was built for firefighting!!
