Nestled on the west side of Bend, I always call this the "Golden" Safeway. The exterior is decked out in a Colorado-esque, ski town décor. Inside, it's a small Safeway, with a large bakery, a pharmacy, at least two "health" areas--one all natural, the other all chemical. The store is clean, but it always feels a little dark inside. Lines are always packed, so expect to wait a bit. As Safeways go, it won't be the largest or cheapest, but it's adequate. read more
