I normally find Indian food either too heavy or too spicy. However, this restaurant is so fresh with it's ingredients and flavors. Their dishes also have a well-balanced spice level. The spice is present, but not so much that it's overwhelming. We ate in, and the owner even checked with us about the spice level, which I appreciated. We ordered: Chennai Carrot appetizer, tandoori roti, saag paneer, and the gongura mamsam. Each dish was fantastic! We even got some free ice cream to take home because they got one of orders mixed up (but quickly fixed it). Service was a little slow, but it's important to support restaurants as they get back on their feet and this place has great food. read more
