You don't have to drive out-of-your-way for this spot but if you're in the area, this is worth a brief stop. You get a nice view of Scargo Lake and further down, Cape Cod Bay. The day I went, it was a little overcast, so seeing beyond the lake was a little harder but I got to see the bay. The stairway and the facilities seem to be in good order and the structure seemed pretty safe. read more
