My Elementary daughter lays better sod.
Apparently they are in business due to large construction contracts, and their work is sub-par.
They pushed recently repaired sprinkler heads into the ground laying topsoil.
They messed up the grading to the drain in the yard, and laid up to 12" deep of topsoil in spots. So when it rains, you get a standing water sod waterbed - sinking in 6" when you walk.
There was no care in the height of the topsoil, which they laid to the top of the curbing. The sod roots are above the curb and driveway.
The cuts were horrible, leaving 6-8" gaps, and square edges were it should be round.
