.When I got there it looked like they were preparing a catering order. 3 people working on that order and I was standing there for a good 10 mins before I was even acknowledged. Finally a lady asked what I wanted I said a chicken shawarma plate but didn't see any potatoes or rice on the display. I asked her if they had any she said yes in the back... ok. She goes and comes back with my container with literally 2 teaspoons of rice in it. I didn't say anything at that point cause I thought she would go back to add more... then she asked what I want on my salad I told her, she put 1 turnip and 1 pickle. At that point I said excuse me can I have more pickles and turnips and will you be adding more rice? She said no, I said that's literally 2 spoon fulls. She went to the back and brought back a foil tray of rice and added a little more ... she put a small spoon of hummus on my plate. Some man that was there noticed I was annoyed, he came to ask I said yes she's adding such small portions. He said oh sorry, and he said something to her in their language. He added the chicken to my plate which again wasn't all that much.
Chicken was very dry, they were very stingy with the sauce as you can see in my pictures you can barely see sauce on my chicken.
Moral of the story I will not be going back, I wanted to support a new small business in my neighborhood but this plate was NOT worth $19. I should have stuck to the usual shawarma restaurant I go to.
Also, I would not cater from here or order for pick up, they took out frozen cut up chicken shawarma pieces and put them on the grill in the catering containers for that order. read more
