The roommate and I rented a car for our last Chicago trip. Before returning it, we stopped by this Shell to fill up. (No one wants to pay rental car company gas prices!) We got here on Wednesday, December 6th around 4:45am. Prices per gallon that day were $2.559 regular, $2.929 plus, and $3.549 premium. It was a rental, so of course we filled up with regular. 13.737 gallons ended up costing $35.15. Not bad as we we had an SUV and did a fair amount of driving during our trip. Convenient gas station if you are returning a rental car at O'Hare. read more
