Bathrooms stink! There was no toilet paper, no toilet seat covers and none of the three sinks in the ladies room worked. Avoid this place for bathroom breaks! This location houses three businesses. There is a Circle K and a McDonald's here as well as a Shell Station. The circle K is at 10537 Hwy. 359, and I assume it's their bathrooms. I can't imagine McDonald's would allow that, but the stench of the bathrooms was so bad that you could smell them the minute you walked in the door to the store! Every time we stopped here before, there's been some weirdness going on. Once, a guy on a loud big ass Harley pulled up to the pump next to us, blaring Tejano music from what sounded like a pretty nice stereo. I know a quality sound system when I hear it. God knows how he could drive safely with all that noise, let alone not go deaf. That's his business, but it was annoying because we were trying to argue with each other over who would pay for the gas. Meanwhile, some guys came back to their pickup truck, popping open their beers - one of which frothed out all over a guy and onto the parking lot. He didn't seem to mind - it was oppressively hot and the cold beer probably cooled him off. Another time, my son went to put his card in the pump, but its theft alert sticker said "void." He went in and told the clerk, and she came out and took a look. Then we checked the other pump unit next to us, and it, too, had been compromised. The clerk was very nice and on the ball, as she marked the pumps out of order and put a bag on them. Too bad for my son, he'd swiped before he noticed! There really isn't much else to add, but I will definitely not be stopping here to use the bathroom again, nor will I get fuel unless I'm on empty and this is the only open gas station in town.
