My first rule of thumb is never get off the highway in Miami unless there are severe circumstances. Well today was one of those days as I was running on fumes and pulled into this Shell gas station against my better judgement. Thankfully, it was not that busy. The pump fueled quickly and a receipt was provided without entering the convenience store. Aside from gasoline, which is priced .20 higher then a few miles north, they offer a drive thru car wash for a fee. Without messing around, I quickly got back on the highway northbound. read more
