This is the Shell gas station, food mart and carwash on Great America Parkway just south of Hwy 237 in Santa Clara, CA. This Shell has a prime location near the freeway, Great America, Levi Stadium, the convention center and a business park. I stopped by for gas a few days ago after Thanksgiving, and regular UL was at $4.69/gal. Now that was a fair price for gas considering the location of this station. What was really disturbing was the poor maintenance of the place. It was really dirty and dusty. There were weird stickers on the pumps. The washer water was smelly and grey. I went in the food mart and mentioned it to the clerk, and he said he doesn't take care of the outside. Well, hope nobody spills gasoline or oil out at the pumps! The food mart was nice and well stocked. I didn't use the restroom or buy a carwash. Also, there was a man opening up the trash bins and looking for cans. Not the best place to get gas, but the prices were fair at the time. read more
