Sheppard Motors was one of the only places in Eugene that I could take my Elantra to for some recall repairs. I made an appointment online and they quoted me that it would take about an hour. When I arrived I was directed to the service desk but just sort of pointed in that direction. There wasn't really a clear sign to where we should go and when we walked up the woman at the desk didn't say anything. So we waiting and walked up to the guy at the window. When we told him why we were there he seemed annoyed and exclaimed, "Yea... you want the service desk right THERE." Uh.. OK! Sorry for asking. Anyways once we checked in the woman we interacted with was nice and told us it would be 1.5 hours because another recall showed up on the computer that we didn't even know about. They were minor repairs so we just waiting in the waiting room which has some free snacks, water bottles, tea, coffee and a vending machine. After about 10 minutes of watching people argue on Judge Judy we decided to browse the cars for sale. A sales guy helped us and we told him we were thinking of trading. He was really helpful and gave us a ton of info even though we were just browsing. I appreciated that he was still engaged with us and showed us around the lot. We actually plan to go back and test drive one of the cars. Overall we were happy with the service and glad their time estimate was correct. read more
