We stayed in campsite #65. We chose it since it was the closest one left next to the lake. In the morning we took a trail down to the lake that was directly connected to our campsite. Such a great way to start the day. The view is absolutely stunning from this location. The general store is nice here. They have a laundromat and showers. The showers cost about a dollar a minute. In order to use them you need to get tokens from inside of the laundromat. It is connected to the same building. The sites that are closest to these facilities are the ones with the lower numbers (10s and 20s). Since we were 65 we were a bit of a distance away. Bathrooms were nice for a campground. It would be nicer if they had showers at every bathroom instead of just by the entrance. We were able to get cell service here. The downside is that our campsite was backed right up next to the campsite beside us. Literally our tents were 1 foot away from each other. There was not much we could even do about it since both sites were really tiny in comparison to the others. We had to move our tent and had to be on a slight slope. We could still hear the people next to us coughing and snoring. The weather for camping was perfect when we were here. We are from the east coast so we have had some rough camping experiences in the past with it being too humid, too many bugs, too hot or too cold. But here in Grand Teton we did not run into any of that. We had 40 degree temperature sleeping bags and that worked out fine for September. Even though it is warm in the day it still cools down at night. I will definitely be camping again out here! If you have been scared away from camping in the past give it another try here or in Yellowstone. read more
