I originally enjoyed getting my dress altered at Silvermoon, but I had a few issues. I brought my own dress here to be reconstructed. The process was fine until the final day. I ended up a week before my wedding with my dress finally, but it wasn't what I had expected. I paid in full at the beginning and had an extra add on for pads around $300 during the fitting process. So I made 2 payments to them. I did have an appointment 2ish weeks prior to my last appointment and had to cancel it before cause of a family member dying another being sick. I would have been fine driving back for another fitting week of the wedding, but I was worried it wouldn't have been done fully since I was a week out. Therefore they said the dress would be fine at the last fitting so I took it and wore it the next week at the wedding. Sadly right before my wedding ceremony I couldn't get my removable straps to stay on. They were done very quickly at my last fitting despite me paying for them in advance as stated. I had to have them pinned on by my family and as I walked down the aisle I had to stop mid aisle and put them back on since they popped off. I now sadly have marks from the pins we put in my dress to keep the straps on. During the cocktail hour I noticed my boning coming out and the beads scratching me. I kept trying to fix the boning all night, but it wouldn't fix. Even with taping the boning it still came out. Thankfully we didn't have dancing at all (only one couples dance) and no dance floor. So I was able to stay seated at the table most of the night and try to not get more scratches. I also covered the boning with my hair. I've attached photos. I tried to dispute it for partial refund from my credit card company but let it go. I haven't had time to take the dress into somewhere else to be fixed, but I can update with the price I'm given later to fix the issues. This is a dress I wanted to pass down. The photos are of the dress not fitting to my body fully, the boning coming out, and the beads falling off (shows one area but it was all over the dress). I recommend them for buying a dress (even though I brought my own). But I don't know now if I'd recommend them for alterations. I didn't have much of a choice so I took the dress my last appointment and didn't realize until my wedding day it was falling apart. They have beautiful dresses there, but I'd be hesitant doing a bigger job there due to this sadly. I'd rate them 2-3 stars. read more
