Lebanese meat pies have come to the west end of Ottawa! Now Kanatans and Stittsvillians can enjoy meat pies without having to venture east, lol. I've only tried the regular meat pies here ($2.50 taxes included), and those were pretty good. The filling had a lot of meat, and the dough was thin and crispy (but not overly crispy). Spices were standard and similar to the majority of meat pie places across Ottawa. I liked that the meat wasn't too salty nor too oily. I also liked that they really heated it up - when I opened up the meat pie to take a picture for y'all, steam was literally rising from the meat. Staff were nice, but they did not wear gloves. However, we didn't order cheese or vegetables on our pies so there was minimal handling of the food. Not sure if they'd wear gloves if handling the food more. The place has 3 tables that seat 2 people each. They also sell drinks (non-alcoholic). It's in a strip mall, so lots of free parking. read more
