For me, Indian is all about the sauce and quality of the meat. I might not be the most discerning Indian food critique (I almost always order butter chicken) but I believe the best Indian is the ones with quality ingredients that you can see. The Sitar Indian restaurant at Manly West has gorgeous ingredients, you can see and taste all the flavours that are meant to be there. The staff are super friendly and always seem so happy! They do a fantastic chicken tikka masala. Most times I will get take away for convenience however the restaurant is really beautiful. Red and gold walls, beautiful wooden seating, candle light and an overall feeling of warmth. I do not see many people eating in, possibly like me they prefer to eat at home but I have eaten in a few times and the service, atmosphere and food presentation are always wonderful. read more
