A part of me thinks that this name sounds like a bar, but in fact it is a cafe on one of the plaza's in essen and the main reason I came here was because I wanted to try one of those amazing icecreams that the Germans seem to make. In a way people seem to think of Germany as being just beer and pretzels, however they also do some absolutely amazing icecream dishes - more than just your typical icecream scoops that you get in Australia, but a whole menu of ice cream creations. The problem I faced though was that I am not a huge fan of ice cream, so don't eat it all that much, so I was not able to compare this place with any of the others. As for a cafe, and a place to grab a coffee it was okay, but not hugely fantastic, but I will give it extra points for the icecream. read more
