It calls itself the college of knowledge not really sure why but there you go. Slaters is a popular student haunt as its simple fairly cheap and theres always a crowd of students frequenting the bar so the atmosphere is good. The place is sort of semi Irish but seems a little confused almost as though someone began building a bar and never got to finish the job. It is quite shabby as a whole with the toilets being a particular low point. These things do not detract students from Slaters though and why would they who cares about the hygiene of a place when they have deals on jagermeister and the epic creation of quad vods. The music is okay a mix of indie and cheese really and there is an ancient juke box if music this millenium is not what you fancy. To criticise Slaters though is to be fussy its simple and if your a student definitely gets the job done. read more
