With all the hype around Smōk, I had high expectations coming in and everything I thought I knew about barbecue was blown out of the water. Located in the Foothills is this incredible barbecue restaurant. The goodness that ensues here is beyond anything I could've imagined. Order at the front, take a number and wait for the tasty experience that follows. Seating is picnic bench style with lots of room to spread out and indulge. Staff were helpful and made sure we knew where the bbq sauces and silverware were, along with welcoming us inside. Pulled Pork Tacos, BBQ style. Um, yes please. These exceeded all my expectations and they were massive. Filled to the hilt with pulled pork, the slaw and guacamole were the perfect compliment. That pulled pork is damn good and not dry at all. Well worth the $14 price. Mac N Cheese. My goodness, the best I've ever had! As for the burnt ends and brisket, these guys know their stuff. Plus, the portions are filling and the pricing is spot on. Smōk might be the best barbecue in Fort Collins and once word gets out this place is going to be packed. Can't wait for a return visit! read more
