I really love having a local cidery, especially when bunch of beer makes me a bloated sweaty burp-machine. And I am spoiled by having Sociable in walking distance to me. I've also been wearing their super comfy T-shirt to almost tatters.
Sociable offers guides for each cider that gauge the level of sweet, tart, bitter, and body on a scale from 1-10... v helpful! Their most well-known cider is the Freewheeler, which is basically the champagne of ciders. It's dry, tart, and not too sweet. If you want something sweeter, try Training Wheels. They also do seasonal infusions like adding blackberry or strawberry to their Freewheeler. I also love Burn Out, a cucumber habanero seasonal that's usually on tap during the spring and summer. It's refreshing and crisp with a hint of heat!
I mostly find myself at Sociable for their fests and events. They know how to throw a great party with local vendors, live music, and fantastic food trucks! Plaid Friday, Best of the Wurst, and American Fest are a few annual highlights. read more
