So excited solidcore is finally in the Valley. Think of it like Pilates but on steroids. I have been doing Pilates for three and a half years but solidcore really humbles me. It's way more challenging. There's no break in between exercises. Not sure if this is unique to solidcore or if it's because I have only taken a few classes but I feel the exercises are not as well explained as in my local Pilates studio. I might need to come to more classes to get the hang of it. The studio is spacious. A little under 20 megaformers. There's plenty of lockers and 2 bathrooms with Public Goods essentials if you need to freshen up. There's no showers which is a bummer for some people but I don't mind it. Location is great. You can grab a green juice or coffee at the Scottsdale quarter after the workout. Parking is not the best as the Quarter as it's always busy but if you use the covered parking garage you shouldn't have an issue. Loved the goodie bag they gave us on their grand opening. Overall a great workout and I look forward to coming back again. read more
