We are in town for a short stay and our flight got us in for a late lunch. Spectrum Kitchen was just a short walk away so we decided to try it out. It's located in an office tower but since we were in late, we didn't have to fight any crowds. The counter person was very friendly and helped us with our order.
It was warm outside so we initially grabbed a table on the patio but it was actually too warm! So we relocated in the small space inside and eagerly awaited for our food. Our bowls came out piping hot! The chicken teriyaki bowl was great. The abundant vegetables were cooked perfectly (tender but with a slight crunch) as was the chicken. The black sesame seeds added some good flavor and texture to the chicken and avocado. Delish!
The salmon bowl was equally good. The peas and spinach added some nice texture to the orzo, which was very flavorful. The salmon was cooked good with a nice sear on the outside.
The only bits that were left on our plates was some white rice and orzo. All veg and meat was totally consumed! I'd really love to come back again because it was memorable. read more
