Summer time down at Spinningfields, Manchester has been Spinning-Spectacular. Where else could you sit on top of a mini Henman Hill in the sunshine watching the tennis on a gorgeous bright yellow deck chair? With restaurants nearby and a whole heap of things to watch on their huge big screen, it's been a perfect area to enjoy the little summer sunshine we did have. And the lack of sunshine didn't stop people heading on down with picnics and a group of friends to catch one of the fabulous open air film nights. Even when in typical Manchester style the heaven's opened and down poured the rain - umbrella's went up and the film went on. It's nice to see this part of Manchester being used properly and nice to see it bursting with people having fun. Long may it continue read more
