I was a customer of theirs at the Juneteenth festival in downtown Pittsburgh. They were selling kabobs with chicken, steak, and seafoods; flavored chicken on a stick; pineapple bowls; sides of pasta, salad, rice, and fried fish; and Kool-Aids.
An employee politely took my order and payment of $20 for a pineapple bowl with shrimp, and a few employees spent time making it. For my wait, they gave me a free chicken on a stick.
The shrimp were juicy and flavorful. The chicken could have been juicier, but it had been made earlier and still tasted good. The rice and zucchini tasted alright. I liked the carved-out pineapple, but I wish that some loose pieces of pineapple were included. I was using my flimsy plastic fork to try to scoop up some pineapple. My chosen sauce of sweet chili tasted very good. read more
