As of right now I'm giving them 5 stars. Will update later today after my service is completed. Yesterday my family embarked on a 900 mile journey from south Florida to Kentucky. We're moving and our car is packed up with most of our belongings (& a kid & 3 cats) and we hit the road ready to go. Just last month my ft lauderdale mechanic gave me the green light to make the trip, replaced my brakes & tune up, the works. We hit the road about noon and about an hour in we started getting the shakes. Absolutely sure that it was too much oil or unbalanced tires, we tried to push on. We got another 80 miles going about 50 mph on the turnpike. Anything over 50 would make the car shake. Maybe it just needs a break?? We stopped twice to give it a rest.. to no avail. We made one more stop about 13 miles south of a town called St. Cloud and while I waited in line for some fries at Wendy's, I browsed local mechanics in desperation. It was about 415pm at this point. I came across this place and gave them a call & talked to Carlos & explained the situation. He said to come on by & when I asked he said they closed at 5. Hopped back on the turnpike and slowly chugged my way along to the shop which took about 20 mins. Spoke to the nice lady up front who went and got Carlos. We took the cats out of the car and sat in the grass. Thank the Lord for nice weather btw! Florida can be brutal. We sat as he took our car for a short ride and came back and checked it out underneath. Not too long later he came and got me and explained what was going on. Both front axles had taken a dump & someway somehow, the bolt in my rear motor mount had come out and it was completely donezo. Carlos took me to the work area & showed me everything & explained it as he went along, answering my questions. We had intended to make it all the way to ky in one go. Somewhat devastated we decided to proceed w fixing it, no other options.. they ordered the parts as quickly as they could & they got me a quote in writing. I put down a deposit & w the promise that it would be fixed the next day we headed down the street to a motel. As I'm writing this we are sitting waiting while they have started working on it. My 5 stars is for the amazing customer service, the going above and beyond by diagnosing our car w literal minutes until they close & ending up having to stay later, charging a bit less than initially quoted, and the kindness they have shown to us so far. They invited us into their waiting area (including our 3 cats!!) and have been just so nice. It's really disappointing when you plan a trip and it goes awry. So, so far so good.
