Stack Burger in Houston, Texas was an overall decent experience and a good quick stop if you are craving burgers while in the city. The restaurant is located right on a busy main street area, which gives it a cool local street-food vibe, but parking can be a little inconvenient since there is only street parking available nearby. Depending on the time of day, you may have to drive around for a few minutes to find a spot.
One thing to know before visiting is that there is no indoor dining area. The restaurant is very small and everything is ordered through an outside walk-up window. It honestly feels more like one of those hidden local burger spots you randomly discover while driving through town. Even though the setup is simple, the atmosphere still had a nice local charm to it.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming during the entire visit. They greeted us right away, answered questions without any attitude, and the service was pretty quick considering how small the place is. Customer service definitely helped make the experience better.
For food, I ordered two burgers without fries or drinks. The burgers came out fresh and hot, and the portions were decent. Flavor-wise, the burgers were good and definitely enjoyable, The meat and toppings tasted fresh, but it was missing that "wow" factor that makes you immediately want another one. Even with that being said, the burgers were still tasty and satisfying enough that I would probably stop by again if I was in the area and wanted something quick.
Overall, Stack Burger is a small local burger spot with friendly staff, simple ordering, and decent food. It may not completely live up to the hype for people searching for an unforgettable burger experience, but it is still a solid place to grab a quick meal. Between the location, the street-style setup, and the welcoming service, it has its own charm. I would personally give Stack Burger a 3 out of 5 stars overall. read more
