My husband and I were in downtown Lancaster for a Veteran event held at the American Legion. We had an 8 o'clock appointment, and afterwards my husband asked for breakfast. Yelp suggested Stacks, and I obliged. We arrived close to 10 am. We were greeted and immediately seated. We were seated in the back adjacent to the kitchen door. We ordered and the food came out in 10 minutes or so. My husband ordered the veggie omelette with potatoes and a biscuit. He also ordered a cup of coffee. He did not care for the coffee, he said it was ordinary. He liked his omelette, but the potatoes were under seasoned. I had the pastrami open face sandwich with gravy. The meat was cold. I did not eat it. I ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice, and it was very good. The onion rings were tasty. I ordered takeout breakfast for my mother-in-law and son. I also ordered the chicken and waffle to go. The to go food was good. Service was good. The server stopped by often. I wish she had offered to remove the food as I did not like it. She asked if I wanted to take it home though. read more
