Statewide AAA Roadside Assistance saves the day! No one ever wants to blow a tire, but if you do pray that AAA is able to dispatch Statewide, on Nassau Road in Uniondale. On a Sunday afternoon at 4pm, AAA was called and as I hoped to get a tow sooner than later to get my vehicle to a preferred local tire spot that has the laundry list of my cars low profile tire blow out history on these NY roadways ;[ before they closed at 5pm...Unfortunately, whomever they called first wasn't going to make it to me in time to do so. I then requested to have a tow to a AAA location that would still be open, and get me back on the road. AAA was able to get a hold of Statewide, only a few miles away from where I was able to safely roll my car too and they immediately responded. Within no time from that 2nd urgent call a young fella named Darrius in the Statewide AAA tow truck was there to quickly and safely bring my car to their location. When I got there to meet my car [b/c of COVID19 you can't ride w/driver and need to catch a cab/uber to follow/bring you to their shop location], the owner Walter was there to greet me and access the damage. He quickly agreed that I did a good job safely getting car off the highway and to a safe spot without ruining my rim, as it looked stable enough to pull off the shredded sidewall damaged tire and put on the spare I luckily had in the trunk. ;) Can you say TLo has learned from enough past incidents to always have one at this point with me with the particular make/model. Most places seem not to have my lovely size on hand in a pinch for moments like this. Nevertheless, back to my unsung heros today at Statewide, as they quickly, efficiently had that tire off and on faster than I have see before from any location. Customer service top notch, hands down the best tow experience I have ever had. Definitely saving this shops # as I now know they are a super reliable towing company/location that can definitely handle a quick fix. I highly recommend them to all.
