Finally made it to Stella's... and yep, it definitely lived up to the hype
I tried it for the first time on Wednesday, liked it so much, and found myself right back there two days later on Friday. Safe to say this spot just made the regular rotation
The Husker Schnitzel was a home run. Crispy, flavorful, and just done right. On round two, I had one mission: get that green chile on something... so of course I threw it on the schnitzel
And that green chile? Straight-up tasty. Just the right amount of heat -- not too much, not too mild. If you're on the hunt for good green chile in Grand Junction, Stella's is definitely another spot to put on your list... and you know I don't mess around when it comes to green chile
Nicole was awesome great service and She let me try both the green chile and sausage gravy, and both were excellent. She mentioned they make about 90% of everything in-house, and you can absolutely tell. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and homemade in the best way.
Oh -- and don't sleep on the breakfast-all-day. That's always a win in my book
They also did a really nice remodel, and the place looks way better than it used to.
If you're looking for good country cooking in Grand Junction, Stella's is definitely worth a stop. read more
