I honestly don't know how to review a small park like this - or what some people call a 'pocket park'. It's a triangular park that is about the size of a person's suburban, middle-class yard. I'll just say this: you get a nice piece of space in between all the excitement in the Grand Arts District. You may not find any privacy here, but I'd say for some people its a great place to unwind. Picnic tables and a sandy area are in the park. Even a Bible is available (maintained by the neighboring Third Baptist Church). You get a nice frontal view of the Fox (well, when there are no cars going by...its nearly impossible to take a perfect shot of the Fox since Grand is always so busy). Music can be heard from Jazz St. Louis or from the loudspeakers of Lucha. Chimes from the Third Baptist Church you'll hear quite frequently. While the Grand Arts District is nowhere near Downtown, this can serve as a cool urban spot for now, especially before a show at the Fox. read more
