Studio Pod is a quick, easy, and affordable way to take professional headshots! It offers a self-service, high quality portrait studio with no photographer required. The studio was a little tricky to find because it does not have any outward signage, and parking is limited, but, once I was inside, the experience could not have been easier! A Studio Pod employee walked me through how to use the self-service machine and then she made herself scare to allow for my privacy. From my understanding, the Studio Pod on Blossom is the only one in Houston where you have the option to get a quick tutorial from an employee before beginning. The photo taking process was very easy. The photo pod offered several different kinds of lighting and even ran through a posing guide. Once you clicked the photo button, it started a 5 second countdown. Placed in front of you, is a digital screen that allows you to see how the picture will turn out. Not happy with the end result? Studio Pod offers 5 free retakes. I didn't opt for any retouching but this is also an option available for purchase at booking. The whole process took less than 15 min, and I left with a link to the digital files. I got 15 high quality headshots for ~$50 - a steal! Something else that I found noteworthy is that I had to reschedule my appointment because...life! But, Studio Pod allows you to reschedule for free.
