It's usually the cheapest gas station in our route to grocery stores we frequent but it's not come without problems.
First off, this place is always crowded. The station itself is at least bigger than some other places in the area but there are random idiots messing up traffic flow on occasion.
Second, my husband experienced a very ugly incident here when they refused to post a sign saying they were having problems with their credit card machines. He goes to get gas w/his credit card but can't. After going inside & waiting in line (that's another thing, the line here tends to be long & always slow when we go), the cashier claims that the pump is having problems. He's told that he either has to guess an amount of gas he needs (I believe he was trying to fill the tank at the time) w/no way to re-credit the amount if it was under the amount selected OR he MUST pay in cash & they won't let him pump first then pay.
Okay, I know there's been a lot of theft in gas stations but since when does that justify this location to steal money from your credit card if you're not getting a certain amount of gas?!?!?! Is that $2, $5 or even 2 cents some kind of free bonus for these folks? That's THEFT, ladies & gentlemen!
You have been warned. Unless there's been some serious personnel changes since this happened, you might not want to go here unless you have a wad of cash on you. read more
