It's funny how I'm not a fan of white meat but I have tendencies of craving for chicken wings. I actually even went through this chicken wing phase for a couple of months - that all I wanted to eat was chicken wings. I discovered some really good places but also some really not so good. Sad to say, Sunrise Buckets falls on the not so good side. I went here excited to order a whole pound of wings to myself not knowing what I ordered will not make me finish the food. I got a combination of Garlic Parmesan and the Sunrise Original. It wasn't appealing to eat when it got to me. It looked so oily at the bottom of the plate. I bit into it and the wings were overcooked because it was so dry and too chewy to eat. The Sunrise Original was okay but the Garlic Parmesan was not my type. It seemed as if they just combined garlic powder and grated parmesan cheese and placed it on top of my wings. I'm quite sad that the cool beach vibe of this place did not justify my dining experience. read more
