I walked in a little after 7:00 AM on a weekday just as the old-timers were getting their stools adjusted at the breakfast counter for their countless cups of coffee, yeah I'd say this is a local's restaurant which was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The outside is kinda bland as is the strip mall it's located in but the magic is inside, this cafe is very unassuming but very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent, the staff here is really friendly and attentive you'll never have to worry about your coffee cup going empty and by the way the coffee is outstanding. I ordered two eggs over medium, bacon, grits and toast - the food arrived fast and it was all cooked perfect. I think arriving early was a good choice because the customers continued to fill this place as time passed but even with the cafe filling up the service remained attentive. The prices are very reasonable and all the food was delicious and a great value I can see why people flock here. If I have one regret it's that I didn't try the biscuits but I won't make that mistake again- hope to return soon.. read more
