Feral cat feeding and breeding ground. Local women have a network wherein they leave large amounts of dry and wet cat food, as well as leftover human food all over the park and parking lot. Dinner plates, cat food cans, and plastic "water" dishes are littered around the trail and parking lots. Scores of feral cats laying around everywhere. Wildlife, including raccoons, eat the food, leading to mange and over-habituation to people. Trash covers the road leading to the park and is all over the beaches along the trail. Was probably once a nice place to walk, bird-watch, and fish, but has been largely ruined by lack of enforced ordinances against feeding and littering. read more
