My son's appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM for X-rays and a cleaning. We arrived 5 minutes early, but weren't called back until about 20-30 minutes later.
After the X-rays and cleaning, we were told he needed a cavity filling. Instead of doing it in a reasonable amount of time, we were sent back to the waiting room and left there for what felt like forever. It was almost 12:00 PM, and after asking the staff and dentist about the delay, we kept getting different explanations about patient behavior and other dental-related reasons.
Meanwhile, every family that was in the waiting room before us had already been seen and left. We were still waiting with no clear timeline. By the time my son is actually treated, we'll likely have spent 4 hours at this office for what should have been a routine visit.
This is unacceptable, especially for a pediatric dental office. Young children get tired, hungry, restless, and anxious. My son was exhausted and hungry from sitting around for hours.
The owner needs to seriously rethink scheduling and time management. Parents plan their day around appointments, and children's time should be valued just as much as the office's. Unfortunately, this experience left us very disappointed. read more
