Heading north from SoCal decided to travel the 99 instead of the 5 and stayed overnight in Yuba City. For dinner we picked Sutter Buttes Brewing and holy crap was this place a Hidden Gem. Awarding winning craft beer, excellent cider selection, specialty pizza, and burgers. Sitting at the bar Chad the GM was outstanding and spot on with his drink and food recommendations after a hot drive north. The in-house smoked duck pizza (not something we expected) for my wife was one of a kind and so delicious. Didn't know the area has a robust duck hunting season. The steakhouse burger wasoutstanding and exactly what I needed. We bought a bottle of the Lassen Cider to enjoy later in SoCal. Definitely coming back here!! read more
