I thank the Heavens my peripheral vision is still intact as I caught sight of Sensations quick- while driving into that little plaza. Then intentionally, set myself up to pass up Dessert where we'd just finished Dinner- literally, a few doors down. Located in Babylon Village, Sweet Sensations has a fun style with Candy Jars heading in to the left and lots of popping colors all around. Ice Cream is made on-site and offers, more than just your typical Ice Cream menu, toppings and cones- these guys also prepare Chai and coffee Beverages on the spot. Here for the ice cream......not beverages. Right now, satisfying my sweet tooth with the full-fat version is my go-to. But if you want other alternatives, Sensations has a few Vegan ice cream flavors plus gluten-free cones. Sensations is cute with a different touch for an Ice Cream shop. I really liked that the ice cream wasn't stale, freezer burned or that our cones weren't old. Girls were helpful and prices seemed decent. Listen......I'm not an authority on Babylon Village anything. But the fact that Sensations' Ice Cream was fresh, place was put together real cute, Cones weren't stale, price was right and a friendly smile- those were pluses all around! Oh and by the way...hubby liked his Butter Pecan on a sugar cone and my Double Chocolate Ice Cream was ultimate on a (regular) Chocolate Chip Cookie Cone. Divine Ice Creamnation. read more
