My mother is in the hospital in Hope and Tab's is right next door. It seems like nothing more than a convenience store, what is inside is truly surprising. First visit I tried the catfish, chicken livers and gizzards (not regularly on my menu) but they were all delicious. Second visit I had the pork ribs and my sister had the smoked chicken, once again, both excellent. They have lots of other interesting things, most notably beautiful cakes and pies, including cupcakes and fried pies. I tried the pecan pie, also very good. I really recommend this place. Ambiance is lacking, but the God is great. Worth a stop. read more
