Unfortunately didn't have the great experience others had. To start, getting this skirt altered was $53.00. It was explained that the reasoning regarding price was due to having to take the zipper out then sew it back in. That's fine, but pricier than anticipated. However, I was most disappointed with the skirt when it was returned to me. There's a black smudge on the skirt which wasn't there previously (as I took it out of brand new plastic wrap when I brought it in). The zipper is also sewn back into the skirt crooked, with slight puckering along it's hem. When paying a higher price for a service I would expect the results to reflect that. It seems my experience is rare, but I wanted to share it anyhow for those who may be considering a similar alteration. read more
