Being vegetarian I've forgotten what it feels like to have to decide between so many menu items ;). What do you mean, I can order the duck and even the lamb? Wow.
Tea: It's one of the few places in Australia that brews their tea properly. They give you three vessels. A pot for brewing, a vase for holding liquid that has been brewed to perfection, but doesn't fit in the cup, and the cup itself. There is nothing worse that over brewed tea and this classic Chinese set up prevents it. They have a lovely selection of greens and oolongs to choose from, in addition to your traditional black tea. The tea is of average quality, so tea snobs won't be all that impressed, but it's still far better than anything you'd find in a Brisbane cafe or coffee shop.
Food: The chili bean noodles, deep fried radish cake and the cold sautéed bean sprouts were all fantastic. Their food leans on the salty side but in a good way. What a lovely find! read more
