This is an update to a previous review. It appears things can & do change. The Hotel is still not that special unless it's your local or you are just chilling watching the footy. But now ........ we have a great reason to not only come here but also a real reason to stay. The food is very good .... a quality that not many pubs can achieve....... not sure how this happened...... but importantly it did ! ...... so now I do eat here frequently...... and even enjoy family get-togethers as well. The quality & presentation of food is high and the value for money fair. The Tempe Hotel now gets an extra star from me ...... let's hope over time I can rewrite this review and give it another one. The drinks menu is ok .... has something for everyone including a few fancy things too. As for the staff ........ they are a great bunch of positive and friendly crew ....... tentative and happy to help with any queries. It's not the Ritz Carton but it does grow on you ...... as long as you are down to earth and accepting. read more
