I'm bummed to only give them two stars but I was a little disappointed with my visit to be honest. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and I appreciate that, but the donut situation was as a bummer and the food was average. As a donut connoisseur, I was excited to try a new place that I've seen on lists for 'best donuts in Cleveland' but didn't even finish eating the one I tried. The only flavor of fresh donuts that they had available were glazed, and everything else was day old, which I found surprising for a spot that's known for their donuts. The glazed donut I tried was dense, had a weird texture and just tasted like mostly just powdered sugar, pretty bummed. I ordered two breakfast sandwiches and ate half of each. The Forest (egg, cheese, spinach, mushroom) with bacon added was pretty darn good. The flavor was really tasty but the bread was a weird texture (there's a theme here). My husband loved this one. The other was the Pepper and Onion (egg, cheese, pepper, onion) add turkey sausage. This one was not good-the onions tasted gross and it just overall had an odd flavor.
I doubt I'll ever come back to be honest, but if I did, I'd order the forest and nothing else. read more
