I have to say that I am shocked and saddened by all the negative reviews. I came here once when they first opened and didn't think they had much of a selection, and didn't like what they had, only to return just last year before Christmas and was shocked at the difference in what they have now. I found they had lovely items (some things you can find online/elsewhere) and I could just keeping looking and looking as there's a lot in there! I found gifts for a coworker who was leaving, and a few Christmas gifts too. I sent my fiancé to Terrazza as I was hinting I wanted something there. My mom has purchased things here recently too. I like a lot of the home decor items too. Then I just bought a few things for Mother's Day in store. Some key things to remember going in: - most things are expensive but I try to support locally when I can - The return policy is horrible (they note it on a tiny little sign near check out) so make sure you love what you're getting. I know the items I got as gifts will be a hit so I am not worried about having returns - I remember in the past the employees were snotty here as someone in a prior review mentioned, but I did not really feel that way in my recent times in the store. - They will wrap any gift free of charge. My gifts were very nicely wrapped. The woman asked what colors I liked and said blue or purple and she ended up doing both color ribbons and it looked nice. **** This review started at 4 stars and I was ready to post it when I decided to check out if they have a website, they do, www.terrazzagifts.com, and I don't like how hard it is to find their return policy on there which to me is deceptive! Especially if they're selling to people potentially worldwide (I am not sure how far they ship). You go on their website and think "ok, there will be a link for returns somewhere"... go to the menu area on left side of page, scroll down and look, nothing. Then I thought ok it's probably at the very bottom middle of the page at the end? Nope. Then I clicked "terms and conditions" nope. Then I tried placing and item in my cart and going to checkout, thinking if they didn't accept returns it would state it at checkout? Nope. So finally I went to the search bar on the left side of the page and searched "returns"... Tah dah.... Finally found it. I will post the photos so you can see for yourselves. To me, this should be on your website clear as day. Don't be so deceptive to people - especially if you have customers buying from you that cannot physically get into your store!!! What the heck people!!! Not right. Change this immediately! This is reminder to all to always check return policy for any store. This is the worst that I've seen though. It should not be that difficult to find a stores return policy for their online shop.... **** read more
