When we came in mid-October there were still many apples for picking. They had over a dozen varieties, including some uncommon ones like the Aurora Golden Gala (I had never heard of it but it had thin skin and a delightfully crunchy and slightly tart taste). Remember to bring your own bags or you will need to pay to buy some. Overall I was very happy with my experience. The orchard was very well kept and I truly have never seen such an abundance of apples at any other orchard I've been to. The price was definitely more expensive than buying from the grocery store ($2/lb plus entry fee) but I thought it was worth it for a fun fall activity. read more
