Joining Bar Method Berkeley in 2018, I've found it to be the perfectly balanced exercise, especially for someone like myself dealing with chronic lower back pain. After few years of pandemic hiatus I'd recently rejoined and so excited to find that the Bar Method has incorporated even better combinations of strength and cardio components that are a game-changer.
What sets apart the Berkeley Bar Method Studio is its bright, airy atmosphere and positive energy. The owner Helen and the instructors I attend classes with are always very kind, encouraging and personable. They always make sure to do the needed adjustments in the process of each work out, and that continuously helped with the improvement of my posture and injury prevention. In this positive, supportive environment I can push my limits and see tangible results. And let's not forget the carefully curated playlists that keeps me motivated and energized throughout each session, especially my all time favorite 80s music! The various class options and times throughout the day/week are very appreciated.
